Qualified Rehabilitation Officer for adults with a vision impairment

Years of experience and achievements: 

Avril has extensive experience in training and supporting children and  young people with a vision impairment,  to develop their mobility and independent living skills.  She also undertakes environmental audits of educational settings which are aimed at improving the physical environment. Avril has taught long cane training to children from as young as 3 years old and has assisted many students to become more independent.
